CHINA BOUND
hello people!
as you may know, im in china now!
in my classroom in my cool and sleak white uniform with dashing streaks of blue. and a stupid hanwei overlooking my every single word -.-
gahhh i've gotten over that homesickness with quite a few ppl that i now know. muahahaha. day 3. 37 more to go!
haha so mnay things to say. like for instance, the food is so beijing. yang2 rou4 chuan4. salty but mm.
aha and what abt the people there? quite cool la, bargaining is truly amazing. check out alwyn in action when he speaks in his SUPER DUPER REAL china accent (or rather, in an accent which he thinks sounds local)
okay, and then htere is the lack of internet. well dorms 14 and 15 are alr equipped with internet connection. and also, lan connection is not a problem. DOTA. (dont tell any teachers)
overall, everything is so far so good here and though i miss singapore food very dearly, (its natural wherever u go), i still find it cooling here. the weather, poof. it's cooling and yet not too cold. purfect. but then again weather forecasts say temp tmr will drop by 10 degrees.

???: 不要，三十
Lady: 你神经病？！至少一百元呢！！！！
???: 但我看到那间店给我五十，一百八时我当然不要买啦！
*walks off without turning back*

???: 好啦，不要买。

Lady: 四十。
???: 好，四十。
LOL. later going tian an men and then going to shop again. i will put my expertise to the test by bargaining for some nice bags or a winter jacket or a nice shirt.
